Building
I spend most of my professional time as a fractional CTO and advisor, helping founders, CEOs, and investors build AI-enabled technology organizations. My work currently spans enterprise AI adoption, engineering leadership, cybersecurity, product strategy, and scaling technology teams.
Flying
Flying remains a constant. I’m building helicopter experience while preparing for future expedition flying, including long-term plans for a North Pole crossing in a single-engine aircraft. I continue to enjoy the privilege of exploring the world from above whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Learning
I’m continuing my study of French, reading widely on history and exploration, and spending time thinking about how artificial intelligence is changing the way organizations are built and led.
Life
These days I divide my time primarily between the New York area and Cape Town. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me flying, diving, climbing, or planning the next adventure.
